Innovative Reservoir Petrophysical Modelling reduces field uncertainty, increases processing times to 2-4 weeks by incorporating a deterministic methodology to predict reservoir properties in the Oil and Gas industry from the 3D Seismic volumes. The traditional probabilistic conceptual modelling is not required.

iRPM was created as an alternative interpretation to the conceptional probabilistic modelling that has been used in the Oil and Gas industry to quantify hydrocarbon volumes. The iRPM approach is faster, unbiased and blind tested, constrained to the Seismic properties based upon the laws of physics.
The iRPM approach uses any vintage of 2D or 3D Seismic, develops relationships with an existing well and makes Petrophysical predictions for any other well in the Seismic location. The Petrophysical properties of porosity, clay, permeability and saturation can then be populated into the Seismic space.
The deterministic techniques have been applied to clastic reservoirs across the North West Shelf and Timor Sea areas of Australia. The identification of flushed hydrocarbons in gas and oil reservoirs has also been successfully implemented.
